My Skincare Routine

Welcome back!

It’s been a while since i’ve been on here, but I thought it would be time to start again. Today I wanted to talk about not just general skincare, but my own skincare routine.

I’ve been getting some questions recently about what I personally do to my skin to keep it fresh and glowing. I have to admit, I’ve been pretty lucky with my skin. I personally have never had real issues with my skin growing up. So my skincare routine is more about maintaining. Another thing I do want to mention is that I have the ability to change my routine as often as I want, due to having all of the products at my demand. Anyways, lets jump into it!

Morning Routine

Once again, this varies. Sometimes I go to the gym before work, and sometimes I don’t go to the gym until night time. If I do go to the gym before work, I do my routine after the gym. There is no point in me cleansing my skin and applying my serums if i’m just going to sweat it off. After I get back, I will shower, then start working on my skin. All of the products I use are from Dermaquest. I am in love with this brand. They have not only been so good to me, but I truly stand behind their products. I’ve seen real results with these products on myself and clients. Anyways, enough about that.

First thing I do is pick the cleanser I will use. Right now my skin has been on the drier side, with the changing to the winter season. So lately i’ve been choosing the Stem Cell 3D Facial Cleanser. It’s so so thick and hydrating and my skin absolutely loves all of the moisture it provides. After that I will use the Hydrating Mist Toner. It is soooo refreshing to spritz the toner on my face, gives me a quick pick me up. Next I apply my eye cream. I've been using the C-Infusion Eye Cream. I tend to have dark under-eyes, so this product works beautifully for it. I follow up with the Essential B5 Hydrating Serum. This serum is a LIFESAVER. I use this product everyday, twice a day. Probably my all time favourite product from Dermaquest. It is literally like a glass of water for your skin. Now the next serum I use switches each day. Some days I will use the C-infusion Serum. This serum makes me glow so much! There is a certain radiance that it gives me, and some days I need it. Other days, I will use the Stem Cell Rebuilding Complex. Now this helps with pore size, and collagen production and has many other benefits. Lastly, I finish up with the Essential Moisturizer and Sheer Zinc SPF 30.

Night Routine

Typically, my morning and night time routine are quite similar. Only a few things change. At night, I will sometimes use a different cleanser.. Once again its about how I feel, and how my skin feels. So if my skin looks dull, I will use the Peptide Glyco Cleanser. This is typically an anti-aging cleanser, but I absolutely love it for my skin. It makes it tingle(in a good way) because it’s an active cleanser, and makes my skin feel silky smooth. When I feel like my skin is congested and breaking out, I will use the DermaClear BHA Cleanser. I always do a double cleanse at night so before I choose my cleanser, I use the Universal Cleansing Oil to remove all my makeup and anything on my skin. Then I go in with the cleanser of my choosing. Twice a week, I will exfoliate my skin using the Algae Polishing Scrub. This scrub smells sooo good too. After I will then use the C-Infusion Eye Cream, and the Essential B5 Hydrating Serum. Now this is when it gets interesting. Like I mentioned in my morning routine, I like to switch up my serums. Lately, I have been using the DermaClear Serum and thats it. Now with this serum, my skin turns a pink/red shade. This is completely normal, and also the reason I do it before bed. This serum is typically for clients with acne. I use this to get rid of the little tiny congestion bumps on my forehead, and help with pore size. My skin looks so good in the morning after this. Now if I use this serum, I won’t apply anything after it. If I decide to just use the Stem Cell Building Complex, then I will apply my Essential Moisturizer and Sheer Zinc SPF 30 after.

Weekly & Monthly

Once a week I will take a day to myself and do some self care, which usually means a facial. I will change this up each time, since once a month I will do a chemical peel. Now if i’m doing a facial, I will do my night routine, but incorporate a facial steam, extractions, and face masks (I’ve been obsessed with the HYDROJELLY Masks recently). This is also when I will do one of my exfoliation days.

Thank you everyone for taking the time to read this! As well as thank you to all of you for the continuing love and support, it is truly appreciated.
